StarShip Link For Sage MAS 90 and Sage MAS 200

StarShip, engineered by V-Technologies, Inc. is one of the most comprehensive freight manifesting systems available today for small to medium sized companies. It is designed to process shipments for: UPS, FedEx, FedEx Ground, USPS, Airborne Express, Spee-Dee Delivery, and a user-defined carrier. StarShip handles all of the manifesting tasks that your shipping department requires. Not only does it calculate the freight charges and produce bar-coded shipping labels, it can even shop for the lowest rates to your customers’ shipping destination.

When integrated with Sage MAS 90 and Sage MAS 200, shipping information is sent from Sales Order Processing to StarShip to be processed. Usually only the weight of the package needs to be added. Once the shipping information is approved, a shipping label is printed for the appropriate carrier. The tracking number and freight cost is automatically sent back to Sage MAS 90 or Sage MAS 200 to be stored with the shipping history for each sales order. An electronic scale interface allows you to weight each package and send the weight directly to StarShip. StarShip can even Email advance shipping notices directly to your customers.

StarShip supports all of UPS’s services, and is certified for UPS OnLine, which means that your shipping data is transmitted to UPS electronically. There is even a report that tracks late deliveries for refunds on guaranteed services!

If you ship packages using FedEx, you will be able to use the optional PowerShip Plus module for more power and flexibility. Or the FedEx PassPort Interface allows StarShip to communicate directly with FedEx to remote process shipments.
